You may have already decided to buy a used car, but you still have one more decision to make. Do you want a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Mitsubishi? These are used models that have gone through an extensive qualification process. Here are what sets a CPO Mitsubishi apart form a standard used model.
To be considered for the CPO program, a used Mitsubishi model needs to be under five years old, have fewer than 60,000 miles, and it needs to pass a 123-point inspection.
This rigorous inspection covers nearly every aspect of the vehicle. The inspection is performed by a Certified Technician who is trained to recognize even the smallest problem. If a vehicle does not meet the strict standards of this inspection, it does not make it through the rest of the CPO certification process.
Vehicle History Report
Every CPO Mitsubishi will come with a Vehicle History Report. This report will show you vital information like its accident and repair history. These reports also help us determine if a vehicle is eligible for the CPO program.
When you purchased a CPO Mitsubishi, you are covered by the same 10-year/100,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty as a new model. This coverage starts from its original in-service date and lasts for up to 10 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. You also get to enjoy a $0 deductible for any covered warranty repairs. In addition, your CPO Mitsubishi will come with the remainder of its 5-year/60,000-mile New Vehicle Limited Warranty and 7-year/100,000-mile Anti-Corrosion/Perforation Limited Warranty.
Just like a new model, a CPO Mitsubishi comes with 24-hour Roadside Assistance at no additional cost. This provision lasts for the duration of the Limited Warranty and covers services like flat tire replacements, towing to the nearest Mitsubishi dealership, gas delivery, jump-starts, and vehicle lockout assistance.
